I have to give it a five stars today, the food was amazing and the host was supper friendly and attentive. The ambiance elegant and very accommodating. I can say there has been mayor improvements since my last review.

Every dish is a masterful combination of fresh, high-quality ingredients and authentic Mediterranean flavors. The grilled octopus was perfectly tender, the lamb chops were cooked to perfection, and the spanakopita was the best I've ever had. Don't even get me started on the baklava--light, flaky, and utterly divine! The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. You can tell they take pride in creating a memorable dining experience for every guest. Taverna Veranda isn't just a meal; it's an experience. This place was absolutely AMAZING!!! I planned a surprise 30th birthday dinner here for my sister-in-law, and we had such an incredible experience. The reservation was booked about a week and a half in advance, and we were required to put down a $125 deposit to secure the booking. The dinner was for a group of 15, and we chose the $90 pre-fixed menu option. This was hands down the best decision we could've made. The pre-fixed menu included three courses and dessert, served family style. We ended up with a ton of leftovers, which was a nice bonus! Some of my favorite dishes from the menu were the hummus and spicy feta dip with pita, the spinach pie, and the chicken kebab. As a huge fan of Mediterranean food, I was in heaven. Beyond the delicious food, the restaurant itself was stunning, with gorgeous views of NYC that made the evening even more special. The service truly set this experience apart. At the end of the meal, when dessert was being brought out, our server surprised us by playing "Birthday Cake" by Rihanna and coming out with sparklers and desserts! It was such a fun and memorable touch that made the celebration feel extra special. This was such an amazing experience, and I can't wait to come back soon!

Parking. Beautiful ambiance. Delicious food Unparalleled service The staff, from entry to exit were phenomenal here. Our waiter was a gem, but the entire staff chipped in when needed. The manager checked on us a few times and all the tables. That was nice to see. My first time here and I was very impressed. Look forward to catching more great nights here. Chic spot.

Beautiful restaurant, great vibe and service. I have been here on many occasions and the food is consistent. The skirt steak, branzino, chicken kebabs, and lamb burger are among my favorites. For appetizers, try the spicy feta dip! Specialty cocktails are also very yummy. My favorite time to visit this restaurant is definitely on a summer evening when I can sit outside and enjoy the view. Highly recommend!

I recently hit up the bar for happy hour on a weeknight. Taverna Veranda is one of the few restaurants/bars that offers good happy hour food and drinks until 730pm. My fiancée tried the cucumber margarita and he said it was super refreshing and strong so he had to get a second one. I got a classic martini and it was delivered strong by the bartender. For apps, we had their chicken wings, saganaki sticks, and hummus. The chicken wings were grilled to perfection and I enjoyed the blast of flavors. The hummus and pita bread were solid. The saganaki sticks were super rich and delicious but it may be heavy for some people who can't tolerate too much cheese. The service was great and staff were friendly!

This place is absolutely stunning! The decor and ambiance make it perfect for a girls' night out or a romantic evening. The drinks are consistently fantastic, and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable night out! Beautiful nyc view as well.

What a great experience from beginning to end! We came here to celebrate a 30th birthday and Taverna Veranda did not disappoint. Beautiful views... plenty of parking in its own private parking lot. PLUS PLUS and PLUS! Beautiful interior, gorgeous outside eating area with amazing views of NYC, especially uptown. Dave was our server and he was very attentive and thorough. We didn't wait a second too long for anything. Since we were a large party, we had the pre fixe menu which was family style. The amount of food was perfect for everyone. And most importantly, everything was delicious! From the hummus, spicy feta (a fave), delicious fresh and warm pita, my daughter devoured the Greek salad.. the stuffed mini peppers were amazing.. so was the spinach pie. My fave in the 3rd course were the lamb chops... but everything was so perfectly seasoned! I didn't really care for the lavender mousse, and I've had better baklava, but that didn't take away from the experience. Great touch with the sparklers on every set of dessert that was brought out... really made the birthday girl feel special. Also, I mentioned that my daughter has a peanut allergy and someone came out before dessert to go over the ingredients and ensure that there was no risk.. even accommodating her own separate serving. THANK YOU FOR CARING. The only suggestion is that the drinks should have a little more kick to them since they were so small and cost a decent amount. I'm looking for another reason to hurry back!! Great for date night!
